MARCOM's "Right–To–Know for the Food Retailing Industry" Video Program both introduces employees to the "Right–To–Know" regulations and provides training on various groups of chemicals found in the food retailers environment. Created specifically to assist food retailers of all types in complying with federal, state and municipal "Right–To–Know" regulations, the program addresses the major education and training requirements in these "chemical hazard" laws. Areas covered in the program include background of the regulation, chemical hazard concepts, the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), types of hazardous chemicals, characteristics and effects of the types of chemicals, safe handling practices, container labeling, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), spills and clean–up, and more.
